At Prompt Studio, we're constantly working on expanding our features to support your data exploration process. Our latest update gives you the ability to add comments to your queries in the Promptbook editor. This feature is particularly valuable for sharing and reusing Promptbooks across your organization.

Why to use comments in a query?

Comments offer a way to clarify or annotate your queries, or share thoughts about the generated results. They serve as guidelines for team members working with shared Promptbooks, supporting collaboration and scaling. Additionally, comments are invisible to the language model, making them ideal for drafting.

To add comments in your prompt, just select the "Clip" button or type "/" directly in the prompt area. From the menu, select "Comment" and begin typing. Once ready, press "enter" to exit comment mode.
